Dogecoin and XRP ETFs Set to Launch: Insights from Bloomberg Analysts

Bloomberg analysts have announced that both the XRP ETF (XRPR) and the Dogecoin ETF (DOJE) are scheduled to launch this Thursday.

REX-Osprey has received approval for these ETFs under a shared prospectus, indicating a significant moment for cryptocurrency investment products.

According to analyst Eric Balchunas, the market will eagerly anticipate the Dogecoin ETF, which is expected to attract considerable retail interest.

Balchunas also hinted that while these products are debuting, other listed items like Trump and Bonk have no confirmed launch dates.

Fellow Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart provided clarification on the XRPR, stating it is not a “purely pure” spot ETF.

This means that the fund will not only hold XRP directly but will also invest in other spot XRP ETFs available in global markets.

Seyffart also mentioned that although exposure to derivatives is possible, it is not the fund’s primary method of investment.

The anticipated launches of these ETFs may pave the way for wider acceptance of cryptocurrencies in institutional portfolios.
