Ripple Expands Its Horizon with New Accelerator Program in Singapore
Ripple has announced a significant initiative by launching a $200,000 accelerator program in Singapore aimed at supporting early-stage startups in the APAC region.
This program, a collaboration with fintech incubator Tenity, will focus on real-world asset tokenization and artificial intelligence-driven decentralized applications (dApps).
Scheduled to begin in September 2025, the XRPL Accelerator program will run twice a year, specifically designed to foster innovation among startups and corporate teams leveraging the XRP Ledger.
Fiona Murray, Managing Director of APAC at Ripple, emphasized that this initiative is crucial for the growth of the Ripple ecosystem in Singapore, a recognized leader in digital innovation.
With the program offering funding and mentorship from industry experts, it aims to unlock scalable blockchain use cases benefiting various industries and communities across the region.
Ripple's involvement comes at a time when Singapore has become home to over 300 cryptocurrency companies, securing $750 million in funding over the past year.
Jonas Thurig, Managing Partner at Tenity, noted that this partnership aims to support visionary founders who are transforming financial systems and enhancing the potential of blockchain.
Participants in the hybrid program will experience both virtual workshops and on-site immersion, culminating in a Demo Day for pitching to investors.
Applications are currently open for startups and corporate teams that exhibit a strong market fit and a drive to create impactful ventures on the XRP Ledger.
This accelerator is positioned as more than just a program; it serves as a launchpad for groundbreaking ideas aimed at making a global impact.
